SMC Corporation of America's Expansion Plans Approved for Tax Phase-In

SMC will be investing $19 million in the 600,000 square foot expansion. The expansion is scheduled to begin this month and be completed in September. Once completed, the facility will total approximately 1.5 million square feet. As one of the city’s largest private employers, SMC currently employs over 600 people in Noblesville and the expansion plans provide for an additional 163 employees to be hired by 2017.
